| The begining of something special... |

After reading some friends Blogs for the past few months I thought I better give this whole Weblog (Blog) thing a go.
Last night Jessica and I had a lovely night out on the town starting with a two for one meal at the Red Lion, then coffee at Borders and finishing up with Phase 10 on the living room floor. All in all a thrilling evening. At dinner I asked the waiter what a steak called a "Flatriron" was and he looked at me and said, it's the beef that comes from the cow." After taking a second to process this revelational information I asked him what kind of beef doesn't come from a cow. Our next stop at Borders also proved eventful. As we were sitting drinking coffee and reading in the cafe section we couldn't help but overhear a young manager rebuking his employee for all to hear right behind the counter. After about 15 minutes of this I finally walked over and suggested that it's probably wiser to take him into the back room so that all of the customers don't have to endure his ream session and so his employee has a little dignity left. He didn't respond like I thought he would (whatever happend to the customer is always right?) and decided to debate the fact that he was actually chewing out his employee. Instead of punching him I decided I'd said my piece and walked away and they proceeded to the back room.
